Sacred Valley Machu Picchu Tour
Get a detailed insight to the Inca civilization on this two day Sacred Valley Machu Picchu Tour. This is one of our signature tours.
We have designed this two day tour to offer you a detailed introduction of Inca civilization before visiting Machu Picchu. This two day tour is ideal for families and those wanting to get the most in a short time.
The Sacred Valley Machu Picchu Tour begins with a drive to Pisac in the Sacred Valley of Incas. Here we will be visiting the inca ruins that nestles on a hilltop. After the guided tour of the archaeological site, we will be visiting the famous market.
Pisac Market is popular on weekends. Farmers and Craftsmen from neighbouring villages set up their tents on the main square to sell their products. This is the best place to buy souvenirs.
We will then drive you to Urubamba. It is often referred to as the heart of the Sacred Valley primarily because of its centric location. Here we will be offering you lunch in a local restaurant.
The Sacred Valley Tour culminates with a visit to the ruins of Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo is an example of Incas advanced town planning. The archeological site here was one of the most sacred Inca sites. This turned to a battle ground when the Spanish invaded Ollantaytambo.
After the tour, we will be taking a train to Aguas Calientes. The second day is dedicated to a tour of Machu Picchu.
We operate the Sacred Valley Machu Picchu Tour both in small groups and as a private tour. Do take a moment to check our reviews on Trip Advisor.
