Government regulations will not allow reservations to be made unless accompanied by full passport details of the client and full payment of the entrance fee to the Sanctuary.
Therefore to guarantee your place on the Inca trail you must provide a scanned copy of your passport and a non-refundable deposit. Your reservation will only be confirmed when we have your entrance ticket in our hands. Any further changes let us know in advance.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Cusco – Chachabamba – Wiñay Wayna
Chachabamba (2,150 meters above sea level)
We will pick you up early in the morning in a comfortable private bus from your hotel and drive for two hours through Sacred Valley to Ollantaytambo train station. From here we will take the train for 1 hour and 45 minutes following the Urubamba River valley (with clear views of the majestic Veronica snow peak) until we reach the beginning of the trail around 10 a.m.
KM 104 marks the starting point to hike the Inca Trail. Here our guide will assist you in presenting your permits and passport to the authorities. Then we will cross a footbridge and take the easy walk down the Vilcanota River to the archaeological site of Chachabamba (2,150 meters high).
It is a stone altar – site that was used to worship the sun (“Inti” in the Inca language of Quechua) and the deities of the mountain (“Apu”), which are still honored by the local population.
After a brief stay in this fascinating archaeological complex with fountains and water channels, we began the ascent of approximately four hours to an incredible viewpoint of the magnificent valley. From here we will continue towards the remarkable ruins of Wiñay Wayna (eternally young “) (2,650 meters elevation).
Machu Picchu:
After exploring the ruins we will walk along the side of the mountain surrounded by a lush cloud forest, full of giant tree ferns, broadleaf plants and beautiful orchids. We will continue with the iconic Inti Punku (the “Puerta del Sol”). Here we stop to see the natural grandeur of the surrounding peaks and admire for the first time the remarkable citadel that our ancestors left us, that is to say “Machu Picchu”.
Our last half hour will take us along the path that allows us to appreciate the scale of the ancient altars and buildings of Machu Picchu. From the historic city of Machu Picchu, we will take a 30-minute bus ride to the town of Machu Picchu, there we will check-in at our comfortable hotel. (Optional to visit the hot springs of the town).

DAY 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Town of Machu Picchu (2,030 meters above sea level)
We will get up early for a hot breakfast, then, we will take a bus for 30 minutes to the archaeological complex of “Machu Picchu” where we will enjoy the glorious, mysterious and enigmatic city.
We will walk for two hours with a specialized bilingual guide and visit all the main points such as precincts, the Royal Mausoleum, the Temple of the three windows, the main temple, the Sacred Plaza, the famous Intihuatana (where the Inca sages joined the sun at the winter solstice in June) stairs, fountains and urban and agricultural centers.
After these two hours, you will have free time to explore on your own. Alternatively, if you have booked in advance, you can hike the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountains.
After our visit to Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes around 1:00 p.m. for lunch. Finishing the lunch we will take the train to Ollantaytambo and then we will return to Cusco in private transport.

* People who want to climb Huayna Picchu should notify us as soon as possible because, according to the new regulations, there is a limit of 400 people per day. We recommend booking as early as possible and for security 7 months in advance.
