Please Note: If there are open spaces for the day that and you would like to begin the trail, we recommend you to book the trail at the earliest. The permits are sold out quickly.

In order to preserve the authenticity of the trail, authorities restrict access to just 500 people a day. This includes porters, chefs and guides so barely 200 hikers get to enter the trail each day. Permits for the Inca trail sell out six to seven months in advance.
