07:30 AM – Pick-up in Cusco
We begin with a hotel pick-up in the historic center of Cusco and head towards the community of Pongobamba (3,750 m / 12,300 ft), located in the district of Chinchero, just 34 km away.
09:30 AM – Community Welcome
Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the Waynas de Pumata and/or Kusi Kausay associations with traditional attire, live Andean music, and a heartfelt greeting.
10:30 AM – Agrotourism Activities
Join the locals in farming activities such as learning about native crops, identifying ancestral agricultural tools, and understanding traditional farming practices.
11:30 AM – Short Hike & Offering to Pachamama

12:30 PM – Laguna Qhaparay & Piuray Viewpoint
